Hotel Pesaro Palace Venice

BACKGROUND

The Pesaro Palace is one of the most beautiful luxury hotels on Venice's enchanting Grand Canal and is the jewel in the crown of the Doge Hotels group - a historical Venetian accommodation chain. Rightly claiming to be Venice's first boutique-style hotel, this unique accommodation successfully represents the golden age of Venice in its aesthetics while meeting modern luxury hotel guest expectations - a proper gem in other words.

PROJECT GOALS

With such an outstanding accommodation, the Doge group were eager to have this special hotel stand on its own two feet and become less dependent upon the major OTAs. The new site had to be not only fitting for such a beautiful hotel but super responsive, functional and above all, visible.

FISHEYES AND HOTEL PESARO PALACE

The site is fully integrated with all the hotel's social media accounts, Fisheyes' dynamic booking engine and channel manager and is available in 13 languages, including those in the rapidly expanding far east market.

RESULTS

The Pesaro Palace official site ranks top of Google listings for its own name, ahead of the powerful listings provided by the B2Cs. The hotel now has increased popularity in previously untapped Asian markets and ranks among Venice's most profitable hotels.

SUMMARY

The partnership between Doge hotels and Fisheyes continues to be fruitful for both parties. Turnover has increased year on year since the beginning of the project in 2012 and the Pesaro Palace maintains its independence from the OTAs.
