Why WebHotelier and Fisheyes?

Is Webhotelier for me?

If you have a hotel or guest accommodation in Italy and you would like to manage your online sales better, WebHotelier ('Online Booking') is perfect for you regardless of the quality of your property (from 5 star hotels to B&Bs). In addition to 'Online Booking' there is also the 'Channel Manager'

Are there commission payments on bookings?

There are no commissions for bookings made through the Channel Manager portals. For direct reservations (that arrive from your accommodation's official website where Fisheyes has installed Webhotelier as an online booking system), this depends on the business model you choose. You can choose to either subscribe to Webhotelier with a start-up fee and a provisional percentage plan (for Hotels), or choose a fixed payment amount for each booking (for B&Bs). Can I try the service before I buy?

Yes, you can test and evaluate the online booking system for 30 days free of charge. Unfortunately we cannot offer the Channel Manager for a free trial because the initial set up is too complicated.

Is there training, help and assistance?

Yes, we offer a 45 minute training session of the system for free via TeamViewer. Additionally we are very quick and precise in handling any support request and we work 5 days per week from Monday to Friday from 8.30am until 6pm. Saturday and Sundays there is an emergency cell phone service. Our Rome office telephone number is +39 06 4824329.

What are the costs?

Webhotelier has an initial cost (to cover system settings, prices, uploading photos, descriptions, etc) and there is a small commission on every booking that comes to fruition. Commission is to be paid within 30 days of the invoice date – so after the client's departure.

Is it complicated to manage?

No but if you do need any familiarisation with the functions, this can be done during the 45 minutes training session. At the end the accommodation manager has the ability to change room prices, room availabilities, insert offers and download the credit card details of customers. However, it should be noted that Fisheyes takes a small commission on each booking but is at your disposal for assistance for the insertion of offers or package deals for the hotel.

Can I use only the Channel Manager or only the Online Booking?

Yes. You can choose whatever you like.

Can I connect Webhotelier to my existing management system?

It is technical possible, because WebHotelier provides an xml interface that allows any third-party software to link with it. However, within webhotelier there is also management system for small and medium sized structures that proves perfect.

Is my site compatible with WebHotelier?

Certainly. Every site is compatible with WebHotelier because WebHotelier is designed in Ajax and is Cloud Based. The average time taken to insert WebHotelier's booking calendar into your website is around 30 minutes and our technicians are available to implement the work at no extra cost.

Would the system need to be installed or managed externally?

No. WebHotelier is very modern and is cloud based. Everything is online, accessible through any connection to the internet.

Is WebHotelier integrated with other Channel Managers?

Yes, in Italy WebHotelier is integrated with Rate Tiger, Parity Rate. More Channel Manager will be added in the coming months.

GDS?

Yes WebHotelier can have a GDS connection – this service has a separate cost.

How many languages is the system translated into?

18 languages with plans to add a further 5 in the coming months.

Interrogatory Functionality?

Peak Season and off-peak season, room questions, room bookings, rooms available

Statistics?

Bookings, revenue, revenue per visit, per night per person, nights per room, visits, conversions, running time, days booked, worldwide map of bookings, source of bookings.

Availability Calendar

The WebHotelier system with 'flexible dates' shows the client the availability and the best price for the entire month.
