BACKGROUND

The 4-star Hotel Galileo is located in the heart of Milan's cultural centre, amid the famous golden triangle and all of the city's top sights. A large scale hotel with over 89 rooms, the facilities on offer are multitudinous and the atmosphere ere warm and welcoming.

PROJECT GOALS

Galileo needed a website that reflected its homely atmosphere yet was capable of keeping the hotel on the map alongside the other large Milan city centre hotels. Bridging the gap between the tourism and corporate markets required careful planning and a quality, responsive online presence.

FISHEYES AND HOTEL GALILEO

The Fisheyes Hotel Galileo website currently comprises 10 pages in 11 languages, with striking, high quality photography, online video, Youtube and Facebook links and of course, Fisheyes' trademark WebHotelier booking engine and channel manager.

RESULTS

Utilising the channel manager to keep a close eye on rates and communicating regularly with subscribers with offers and promotions, the Galileo has successfully maintained a powerful online presence that has contributed to its increasing turnover over the five years of collaboration with Fisheyes.

SUMMARY

The Hotel Galileo continues to perform spectacularly despite stiff competition in both the business and tourist sectors. This large city centre hotel works regularly enough to increase profits on a yearly basis and maintain a fantastic record on Tripadvisor, not least thanks to its highly successful partnership with Fisheyes.
